Light level is how bright you want the screen, 1 to 100.
Below about 10 it goes further down than the system slider can.
Warmth is colour temperature. 1700K is candlelight; stock
Android stops at 2596K.
Flicker-safe mode is for eye strain. Most OLED panels
strobe at low brightness; this keeps the backlight up and takes the
darkness out of the colour instead, so there is nothing to strobe.
Nothing here is permanent. Reset to stock at the bottom of
this tab puts everything back, and removing the module undoes it entirely.
If the screen is ever too dark to find that button, press and hold
anywhere on this page for two seconds and it resets. That is the
way back when you cannot see what you are aiming at.

Flicker-safe mode
Holds the backlight above the point where your panel starts strobing, and
takes the rest of the dimming out of the colour matrix instead. If low
brightness gives you eye strain or headaches, this is the setting that
helps. Costs a little contrast in dark scenes.
PWM knee—
Lower this for a darker minimum until flicker starts to show, then go back
up a step. The default is a guess, not a measurement — every panel is
different.
Device
Re-probe re-checks what this device supports — Night
Light, Extra Dim, the panel node, and whether the overlay is actually in
effect. It changes nothing; it only refreshes what is shown above.
Reset to stock clears warmth, dimming and flicker-safe
mode and puts brightness back to something readable. Hold the button for
a second — a screen you cannot read is a screen you cannot use to fix
itself, so this one should not be reachable by a mis-tap.
If it ever goes too dark to read: hold that button, or from a computer
run adb shell su -c "lunectl reset". Removing the module
restores stock display settings on its way out, and holding
Volume Down during boot disables every module.

In SonoLune
Its Lune Bridge page is where the app hands warmth
and dimming to this module instead of drawing a matte over your screen.
Its Let SonoLune use it switch only appears once the module is
installed, which it now is.
SonoLune's Lune Bridge page shows this same list and schedule. A change
made in either place is the same change.
Quiet hours
Windownot scheduled
Customto
A preset applies the moment you tap it. The custom pickers do nothing
until you tap Set. Either way you are writing one thing:
the window. If that window contains the current time, quiet mode starts
immediately, which is the point of a schedule rather than a bug.
Use Do Not Disturb
Quiet hours do two independent things, and this switch
controls the second:
1. Apply the levers to the apps you listed below. Does
nothing if that list is empty.
2. Turn on Do Not Disturb for the whole phone
— which is why setting a window quiets everything even with no apps
chosen. Turn this off if you only want the per-app levers.
Do Not Disturb is set to priority, not total silence, so
alarms still go off. Windows that cross midnight work as you expect.
Quiet mode right now
Quieted apps
Default levers: no wake locks, may not turn the screen on, may not take
the screen over. Tap levers to cycle which apply.
Allowed through
These may break through Do Not Disturb during quiet hours. Put the people
who matter here — a partner, a parent, your on-call app.
Re-engagement watcher
Snoozes notifications matching the pattern list — "we miss you", "your
streak is about to expire" — but only for apps you added above.
It polls, so matching notifications flash briefly before
they go, and it costs some battery. Removing them before they are posted
would need framework hooks, which this module deliberately does not use.
Today
Re-probe re-checks what this Android version allows —
which levers exist, whether notifications are reachable. Nothing changes
on your device; it only refreshes what is shown above. Worth a tap after
a system update.
Release everything hands every quieted app its
permissions back, clears the allow list and the schedule, and turns Do
Not Disturb off. Your apps behave normally again immediately. Stats are
kept; nothing else survives.

About
Lune Bridge by uraniam9 · GPL-3.0
Built as the root companion to SonoLune, a calm-first
sleep and focus app. SonoLune works without root; with this module
installed it stops drawing a matte over your screen and hands warmth and
dimming to the display pipeline instead.
Something broken, or something missing? These open a form
on GitHub that already asks the right questions, so a report does not turn
into five rounds of me asking which device you are on.
No warranty. This is a root module: it changes display
settings and app permissions on your device, and you use it at your own
risk. It is provided as-is with no warranty of any kind, and the author is
not liable for any damage or data loss.
In practice it is conservative by design — it only moves limits Android
already enforces, never writes to a hardware node it does not recognise,
lifts every permission it set when uninstalled, and stands down on its own
if a boot fails. But nobody can test every device, and yours might be the
one that behaves differently.
